Title: YouTube Music
Post by: Kat on Feb 06, 2026, 09:12 PM
While I'm working on my Diamond Art projects my daughter got me for Christmas, I like to have my phone on the table next to me and use the YouTube Music app to play music. It has SO many commercials though, like every other song. Is there a way around that or do I have to just suffer through it (I'm looking for a free out, not pay)?

Yeah, sadly the commercials are awful, it's the same on Spotify, too.  I had YT Premium for a while thanks to a friend, and it was bliss, but...it's impractical adding another subscription each month.  I haven't found a way on mobile around the ads, and youtube are getting better and better and filtering out adblockers on desktop, too.  So...it's getting harder and harder to actually get around their pervasive ads.
