In the US, we tend to celebrate birthdays, especially for children and then important milestones. I have a friend in the UK who says his family doesn't celebrate birthdays, and to me that was so sad.

Do you celebrate birthdays in your country? And what do you do to celebrate them?

I have never been a fan of my birthday, so I try my best to avoid it every year...but every year I turn 25 again...it's like clockwork.

As a child, I use to celbrate my birthday every year. As an adult, it's just a reminder that I'm getting older. My partner tries to give me a break from the kids, sometimes we'll go out to dinner, but mostly he just makes me a little gift basket of all my favorite things and we hang out at home.

Yes but the older I get the less I really care about it.
