I installed SMF Versatile Post Reactions on my test setup and it did install. 15 errors right off the bat. No time to dig into it and see what the issues and fixes are.

I appreciate that!  I looked at the first one, it seems it's struggling with php 8 compatibility, which might explain why it didn't work with your test install.  Hopefully in time it will get patched!
