AI and Dementia

Some think AI is bad for mitigating dementia.

The problem with AI is that it replaces your need to think, do research, and continue to exercise your brain, mind, and memory.

The computer already has done damage but now we have AI to do even more damage.

Do you agree that AI is bad for us in this sense or do you disagree and if you do disagree, how so?

In the short time since this forum got created and I began using AI extensively, I have to agree with you on this! I realized last week how little I was using my brain to do things and immediately consulted AI instead. What's that movie based in the future where people are stupid? Idiocracy. That's it. We're on our way.
